Position: Machine Operator (Excavator Operator)
Job Description:
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation and earth-moving tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery
- Read and interpret site plans and specifications
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with site supervisors and other team members
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed
Requirements:
- Certified excavator operator with relevant qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment
- Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret site plans
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
